Impact Diablo Valley was formed after learning about the incredible results of Impact 100. Impact 100 was started in Ohio in 2001 by Wendy Steele as a way to bring transformational grants to the communities it serves. The concept quickly spread and chapters took off across the United States and Australia. Since its inception, Impact 100 has gifted more than $45 million to worthy non-profits. Approximately 50% of families who join Impact have not previously given to local non-profits. Ms. Steele herself has expressed enthusiasm and support for Impact Diablo Valley and its family oriented approach to the program.
